Tollendale Village II - Project History

Brief History

In 2012 Tollendale Village acquired a 32-acre site at 1870 Big Bay Point Road in the Town of Innisfil abutting the City of Barrie. This was in response to an increasingly longer waiting list for units at the existing Tollendale Village on Hurst Drive in Barrie.

On July 31,2019 Minister of Housing, Steve Clark, announced the approval of a Ministerial Zoning Order (MZO) to allow for the process to start for Tollendale Village’s second campus to be built on Big Bay Point Road in the Town of Innisfil. This site will be the future home of Tollendale Village-Innisfil Campus (TVIC)..

In March of 2021 the TVIC Committee along with its Consulting Architects and Engineers submitted a Site Plan Agreement Application to the Town of Innisfil.

We are currently working through this process and hope to have approval of the Site Plan Agreement in the coming months.
